Letter from the President - CEO

Dear Stakeholders,

What a month it has been! McKinney continues to be blessed with a lot of opportunity, activity and development.

The McKinney Corporate Center at Craig Ranch has it's first 120,000 sf. Class A office building going vertical with an expected completion date of Q1 2014! We continue to be very excited about the progress at the McKinney Corporate Center and are anxious to see this exciting project build out. Another visionary development in McKinney, Adriatica, is full speed ahead and things are changing almost daily on-site with multiple developments continuing simultaneously. Raytheon is well ahead of schedule in their corporate headquarters transition to McKinney and new restaurants continue to call Historic Downtown McKinney home.

McKinney continues to build momentum on the economic development front. We are working on two major projects - both of which will have a major impact on McKinney. The Gateway Site has been re-mobilized for the complete of a newly flagged, full service and events center Sheraton Hotel. In addition, the execution of documents for the acquisition of vertical assets and FBO operations at Collin County Regional Airport is underway!

The new Sheraton will provide significant momentum to the entire Gateway site development and really the entire Hwy-75 corridor at our city's entrance from the south. The airport acquisition will save taxpayer dollars by reducing the City's subsidy, creating revenue streams and enhancing economic development opportunities! I feel that these two recent developments will have significant positive impacts on our community well into the future.

Again, it's a tremendous honor for me to be able to be a part of a team that is so focused on quality economic development and making McKinney "America's Premier City"! The truth of the matter is, McKinney is a special place and a lot of people are working hard to keep it that way while creating an even better McKinney for the future.

With all of this being said...

Hold on...This is going to be a lot of fun!!
