David Craig | Craig Ranch Developer, Craig International Founder

The proud son of a retired Air Force colonel, David Craig learned the value of hard work and dedication at a very young age. The drive for success led him to be named All-American in his high school years. He then went on to The University of Nevada Reno and Texas A&M University, majoring in Political Science and History with a successful football career spanning 1974-77.

Those who know David Craig would call him a visionary, as he works tirelessly to push the boundaries for Craig Ranch. His motivation and passion have resulted in a McKinney, TX master-planned community that knows no limits. Development in this community is evident, as there are always new neighborhoods being completed, new buildings going up and new families calling Craig Ranch home. No one is more excited about the success of Craig Ranch than David Craig himself.

David Craig founded Craig International more than 30 years ago and it has grown to control and/or develop an excess of 2,200 acres. The biggest benefit of having David Craig involved in the day-to-day activity at Craig Ranch is that he is laser-focused on detail, and he makes sure every project is built the best, most innovative and efficient way possible.

David Craig isn’t one to sit back and lead from behind the scenes. He writes a monthly installment in Craig Ranch’s Telegram to outline and report the biggest upcoming projects for the development. Most recently he provided details of the McKinney Corporate Center Craig Ranch that has become an important element in the Craig Ranch employment district.

“The Corporate Center is part of the 270-acre Craig Ranch employment district that will offer an environment where individuals and families can work, live and play. Our joint venture with the city provides an ideal partnership for marketing worldwide,” Craig said.

Craig isn’t only focused on growing his business ventures, either. Craig International supports many local philanthropies including The Boys and Girls Club of America – Collin County; The Family Place; Habitat for Humanity; and The Samaritan Inn.
